Partial Contribution Water Wells

Sa’d ibn Ubadah (RA):
He said: “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?.”
The Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said:
“Yes.”
Sa’d asked: “Which charity is best?”
He replied:
“Providing water.”
So he dug a well and said: “This is for the mother of Sa’d” (Sunan an-Nasa’i, 3666 | Graded Sahih by Al-Alban).
